Providing access to Veterans for a brighter future
Our vision is to create a world where every Veteran & First Responder has access to quality training from the start of their sport of choice until competition and/or event. We believe there is a strong correlation through athleticism and mental health.
Fallen 48 Foundation main event is the Memorial 100 Day Run. The run has gone from Richmond, VA to Washington D.C, Eastern Long Island, to Ground Zero, N.Y.C and from the original site of the Tun Tavern (birth place of the Marine Corps) in Philadelphia, P.A. to the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico, V.A. which was the longest at 175 miles! The runners are comprised of Veterans, First Responders and family members. This run was started by the Marines from 3rd Battalion, 25th Regiment who served in Iraq. During their 2005 deployment, 3/25 lost forty eight Brothers, making this one of the highest sacrifices of the Iraq War. Over Memorial Day Weekend, Veterans, First Responders and family members begin the 100 Mile relay marathon and complete it in twenty-four hours.
Over the years, we have impacted the lives of Veterans from your donations by: Participation in the Memorial 100 day Run, Annual Labor Day Veteran/First Responder & family weekend retreat, Memorial 100 Day Run Bicycle Club, Veteran Hockey Team, and families struggle to make ends meet during Veteran & First Responders surgeries.
Come join us on our annual Memorial Day 100 Run location: Racoon State Park, PA.
The cost is $100 per family. Donations are welcomed!
We have partnered with LCA to host a Flagship Run in Carmel, Indiana. Chapters across the US will be joining the run Virtually. Run Date: 9/7/24. More information coming soon!
Get your pedals moving and ride with us 65 miles from Philadelphia to Atlantic City. Details to come soon!
